UNIVERSITY
OF KANSAS
They are all
truly beautiful. My Favorite is the woman coyishly covering her
sagging breasts. I love the look
all real. Thanks.
This is a
beautiful exhibit; it really emphasizes that beauty comes in all
shapes and sizes and that everyone can be beautiful inside and
out. One shouldn't compare themselves with society's idea of beauty,
for what does society know? Society makes it okay for people to
condemn others based on race and religion. Honesty is beautiful
in itself.
It is a breath
of fresh air that people of all shapes and sizes are so unashamed
of their bodies when so many others are.
One cannot
find happiness in life if they cannot find happiness within themselves.
This is great!
It shows the diversity that the University of Kansas is trying
to achieve. We are all human and beautiful.
I am a beautiful
being amid beautiful things.
The pieces
are so beautiful; it's a real eye opener for people with big bodies
to be so open.
The cast of
the women who had a mastectomy was very moving to me. My mother
had breast cancer and this woman showed a lot of courage to expose
herself so completely. Kudos to her.
This is beautiful.
Here you don't feel slighted and you don't feel special
you
are just you.
We need more
displays like this in our culture. Our girls in our society need
to see other body forms desperately to realize we are not cut
from a cookie cutter and we do not have to look the same. I'm
also pleased you included different stages in life, from older
to the full pregnant form to the young.
Beautiful
use of various body shapes. The beauty of humanity is diversity.
Flesh is only a shell.
No matter
what body type, these people's forms have been elevated to breathtaking
beauty. Don't fight your image- realize that it is beautiful in
a way that no one else's can be.
A fascinating
exhibit of the wide varieties of bodies. It is amazing! And ironic,
for though we are constantly bombarded by thin forms in the media,
it is actually the larger people who tend to have a more unique
cast, though all are beautiful in their own way. Truly, this shows
that all people are a piece of art.
I'm so glad
that someone has the desire to express the issues regarding the
human body.
Regarding
my own body. I am 22 years old and have mostly overcome weight
issues-not one with a "perfect" weight to height ratio
right now-but honestly have come to terms with what I have. I
have to let go of typical body expectations yet of course, I run
into mania again when shopping
I HATE TO SHOP!
Very interesting-we
are beautifully and wonderfully made, each of us-CELEBRATE!
The pregnant
woman is beautiful.
How boring
the world would be if everyone looked like Kate Moss. This is
beautiful.
Learning to
be comfortable and satisfied with my body-clothed or nude-has
taken a huge weight off my shoulders. I don't have to live with
the burden of hips, instead I live with the thrill and the glory
of curves.
