At LSU, the
Women's Center was the primary sponsor. They decided to participate
and I went to the campus ahead of time to take casts. We had an
overwhelming response and had to cut off at 23. I was able to
take 5 more casts when I returned for an exhibit but we still
had to turn others away.
The exhibit contained 29 pieces in all. We set the work around
the campus in several buildings and the brought them back together
at the Student Union for the talk.
As sometimes
is the case, it was not possible to hang many of the pieces on
the walls. The Women's Center came up with the ingenious idea
of cutting sheets of plywood to hang them on and then placed them
around campus.
