This was the original concept and was started in late 1993. It contained 60 male and female pieces who were in the same position and the surface coloring was the same. Approximately half way through working on the exhibit, I realized two things: after the feedback I had received from the participants, it was plain that this was a very unique and potent form of expression that needed to be investigated further. Secondly, I realized that it could be done better but I had to go on and complete it due to the time frame I was under for the planned exhibit. After 2 exhibits, I destroyed most of the show and started over again.
