University of Wyoming

The project traveled to Laramie, Wyoming and the exhibit was on display for a month in the beautiful American Heritage Center on the University of Wyoming campus.

Twenty pieces were on display and were hung from T-forms that were free-standing and scattered throughout an area that included a working fireplace.
Setting up the display in this manner offered an intimacy not afforded when the work is on the wall. The Nutrition Department (one of the sponsors) added to the exhibit by displaying visual and printed material, in showcases, regarding the human body and discrimination.
The exhibit was sponsored by several departments. WIN Wyoming (a wellness organization), the Dairy Council and the School of Agriculture were amoung those. WIN Wyoming filmed the exhibit and talk and has produced a documentary on the project.
